Im going to get surgery in my mouth..scared?

Question:

well i went to the dentist today for a braces conceltation and they took exrays and found a sist (cant spell) and so i need to under go surgery for that to remove the tissue and im like so scared ive never had surgery but what scares me the most is breathing in the laughing gas and passing out or w/e it does idk im scared so any words of encouragement or how it went for you when you went in surgery.

hun,the dentist knows what he is doing,he wouldnt do anything that would hurt you! trust me, you will be ok.. hundreds of people have had it done before you,and turned out fine.you will do awesome! good luck!

I go in for the first thing tomorrow morning. Next week I get the big surgery. Yeah hon, I am scared out of my mind too. People are all giving me all kinds of advice about what I need to have done; how what I decided is wrong and I will be suffering later on with this stuff. ...blah blah blah.
Tell you what hon, be brave. Be strong. And know, somewhere out there in cyberspace, there is 'the witch" and she is scared too. And I will be holding your hand really really tight. That way neither of us will be that scared.
A long while ago, someone told me that when we are little guys, we are taught to hold hands really tight when we cross streets, so we are safe and braver. I will hold your hand really tight as we cross the street together.
