How many days will the pain from braces last?

Question:

Answers:
3 to 4 days
forever.
If you just got them on it can take a couple of days for the pain to go away. Your teeth are being loosened so they can be moved and that is causing the pain. Try taking advil or tylenol to help with it.
Only a few days... Good Luck!! ;)
Take some tylenol or advil. The first days to first week will be the worst. Also, the few days after your monthly adjustments will be pretty bad too. Not much else you can do! Sorry
oo i understand very much how you feel.. You feel like u cant eat or bite into anything right? Well i can assure you that every day it will get better and will be all the way gone by like one week or sooner. i have had 2 phases in braces so i have gone through the pain 2 times. Also if your gums or somthing in your mouth hurts from them you should use Oregel. It works and all it does is numb that spot and you can't feel that spot anymore. You can find this at your nearest drug store. When i just got my braces on i ate alot of soft eggs, and macoroni and cheese, and jello! Take some advil or tylonal to take away the pain for a couple hours too!

I am very sorry and hope you feel better but i know after you get your braces off they will look amazing!
The first 3 days are the worst! Stick it out, though. After that, the pain will go away. There may also be a little pain with each monthly adjustment.

If you have to wear rubber bands as well, the pain can also last a few days. I remember when I had them and I just wasn't able to get past the 1st day. Finally, after about a year of my orthodontist yelling at me, I stuck it out for the 3 or 4 days of pain.
when i got mine the pain lasted about 3-4 days..then when you go in for detailing they adjust the wire and you'll be sore for about a day or 2...it aint that bad actually...i get mine out next month:D yay!
