well when i had spacers it hurt like crazy!! i just ate soft things like soup,and rice for a few days...if you really want to eat taco's i would recommend soft tacos..but food may get stuck.well hope my experience helped

you can only eat hard tacos if the braces aren't on yet but if its a soft taco you can eat it with your braces
I would probably say to go ahead, just stick with a soft shell taco. Not only will this not damage or worse, brake your braces (who wants to go through all that pain twice?!), but it will be easier (and less painful) for you to chew. Hope this helps!
Eat anything and everything you can before the pain kicks in. I think spacers were the most painful part for me but it didn't get bad til the second or thrid day.
