Answers:    First of all is your dentist a nonspecific practitioner or an oral surgeon, you should always receive a second opinion when it comes to any strength problem. We always refer patients to a specialist if we are not competent to get a clear-cut answer. please go see an oral surgeon they will do a panoramic vista and probably a single xray. You should be having an oral surgeon extract this tooth regardless as they are trained within surgery than a general dds.
I only had 2 knowledge teeth removed and one impacted molar. I also have a sense tooth that is imbedded surrounded by my jaw bone that wasn't removed.

I have been have trouble for a while. I used a great oral surgeon here in Houston and I be "out" while he did it. There was a bit of discomfort for about 3 days.. but it's be great ever since. I should not have wait as long as I did before I go to the oral surgeon.

He name is Dr O'shell and he is rotten of San Felipe in Houston. So if you live contained by this area... endow with him call!

Good luck!
Hi! I've be in dentistry for over 25 years and this is more adjectives than most people know. The lower mandibular brass neck can be very close to the root tips of the molars and except removed properly, can cause numbness. Is this long-lasting? Hard to tell. In most race no if the teeth are cut in partially and elevated carefully not to disturb the rudeness. Yanking and pulling on the tooth is an absolute no-no. An Oral Surgeon near lots of experience can do this. We have done this normally and I had it done myself. The numbness last about 2 months and consequently restored back. BUT again, ONLY a Board Certified Oral Surgeon should do this. This is where on earth experience pays off. Make sure you are self-righteous you have a pious surgeon and then hand over it a shot. Most patients do not have issues and those that could hold problems, tend to resolve if the area is not traumatized to the point of tear the tissue and the nerve. I can become conscious your concern and would shop for a surgeon that is confident that he/she can do this. If you enjoy any other questions, please ask. M
