Dental Question - PLEASE HELP?
2 of my teeth near my very front teeth are a bit pointy. I would not called them fangs, but there are slightly more pointy than the others and I think it wiould look better if they were filed down slightly. When I asked my dentist, he said there is no point as he can only file them down by a few millimetres and it would hardly make any difference. He is not a cosmetic dentist however. Would a cosmetic dentist be able to do this for me? Overall, I have very good teeth and would not ever wish to get venneers.

Yes, a cosmetic dentist would be able to fix them if you really want to. This is quite common, im guessing you have what they call "peg-shaped laterals". Maybe they will build them up for you, to make them less pointy...
Do BRACES hurt when they have to take them out?

A cosmetic dentist should be able to fix this problem. However, you should decide if you really want to have it done becasue it would be pretty expensive.
