Hi.

I know the ones where I live build good money (and I live within a small town...so I imagine surrounded by the city they make more.) Look online for salary.

I do believe there is a requirement everywhere.

I don't think it's easier said than done to get a post as one as long as you have the training. There IS college or trade college involved. Where I live in Michigan we own a two-year program at many university.

I am not one to "diss" other people's job choice, but I consider this would be the utmost disgusting job! Scraping people's teeth adjectives day? Yuk! I am glad near are people that want to do it....as we obligation them as much as we need adjectives other professions, but it wouldn't be for me! I can imagine how some people's mouths look....frightening!
Yes! They form great money. Hygenists have a better reputation as they are dealing near the client one on one....as opposed to a Dental assistant where on earth they assist the dentist with medical/surgical procedures. Everyone i know contained by the feild has taken Dental Assisting formerly Dental Hygeine as it is a 1 year program and teaches you alot roughly speaking Tooth and Mouth anatomy as well as only the basics.
Everyone wants there teeth cleaned so its not firm to get a commission as one. Often it is part-time, so if you work at two different office it keeps things exciting, and give you different clientel.
