Cost of Surgery for wisdom teeth extraction?

Question:
without insurance

Answers:
I had my 4 wisdom teeth extracted a few days ago with general anasthesia. I had 30 minutes of anasthesia, and a shot in the gums (after I was put to sleep). The total cost was a $1900. I don't know which is more painful, the pulling of the teeth, or paying the bill. :(
could cost anything from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand. the major difference is whether you go under general anesthesia (put to sleep) or not. Also, it varies depending if your wisdom teeth are errupted or impacted (still under the gums). You can always go to a dentist and get an estimate with a free consultation.
i am having mine out in two weeks and it is going to cost $220. I AM getting put to sleep. i think your insurance has a lot to do with cost also because it was $1500 before insurance.
