First orthodontic visit (what to expect)! Picking Best Answer!!?

Question:
I'm going to the orthodontist for the first time (i'm 14) and want to know what to expect.
And for the people who have braces or go to the orthodontist, what do you think he'll say about my teeth that look like this: http://i12.tinypic.com/6cgifyw.jpg...

Answers:
before i got my braces, my teeth were similar to yours, and mine are crowded to say the least. if your teeth aren't that crooked but you still want braces, you probably won't wear them for that long. i have to wear mine for about 2 years.

anyway, my first time at the orthodontist, they looked at my teeth, my bite (to see if i have a overbite or an underbite), and my ortho was writing things down on a piece of paper. i later had to go and take photos of my teeth (the front, left and right side, the roof and bottom of my mouth). then, i did moldings. the taste of the moldings wasn't great, but it'll be over in a few minutes or so.

i had to do another molding because i had couple teeth extracted. after that molding, the week after, i got my braces on.
My teeth were the same way when I first got braces. If they haven't examined your teeth yet, then they'll just look around your mouth and make a plan of what they are going to do. If that's already happened, they'll put your braces on without any rubber bands. Then the second or third month of braces, they will probably give you rubber backs to slowly shift your jaw over so your bite will fit together in a straight line.
