i have braces and the first appt is for the top row and the second is for the bottom row.
they will put wires in when you get the brackets.
be sure to take advil b/c your braces will make your mouth sore, and down eat chewy foods, eat liquidy food like yogurt.
youll probobly lose some wieght b/c of this!

hey will probably put on your top braces today, and next week your bottom braces. it reeks when you have braces, but when you get them off you will be forever grateful.
At my ortho. they put on my bottom braces on before my top ones but my friends sister got her brackets on one day and then the wires. They will look a little funny to you if you don't have the wires on right away. Don't worry about it, I'm sure they know what they are doing. Good Luck!!
I've have friends that has braces some get the ligatures(metal 'squares') first and the wire put in next time or some get the top braces or the bottom first and the others the second. It depends on your orthodontist.
