My gums at bottom seem to be going purple?

Question:
Hi, for quite a while (maybe a few yrs) my gums at the front on bottom have been a purple colour but now i've noticed its moving round to either side? the dentist has never said anything but at the time i had forgotten to mention it!

Answers:
Change your toothbrush and use Corsodyl mouthwash. This will take away any bugs that are in the mouth if its gingervitus thou you would need antibiotics however Im sure your dentist would of picked that up.
If you smoke, theres your answer.
It could be gingitivitis. Mention it to your dentist the next time you go.
If there was anything to worry about your dentist would surely have noticed and have said something, but if you're concerned, rather than lose sleep worrying about the problem, why don't you give him/her a call.
