Why is my gum line very uneven?

Question:
After I got my braces my gum line has been very uneven. The front two teeth have a very high gum line and the ones next to those have gums covering my whole tooth up to my bracket. Then, the "vampire tooth" has a very high gum line and the next ones don't... Why is this and how do I get my gumline to be even?

Answers:
There are many possible cause: Gums are not healthy (gum disease), Incorrect brushing technique, dental calculus, bad restorations…
Like plastic surgery, cosmetic periodontal/ gingival surgery can be used to improve your smile and appearance. Gingival (gum) contouring and/ or Soft tissue graft (also called gum graft) surgery can restore receded gum lines and cover sensitive roots.
