Do i get dissolving stiches when i get my wisdom teeth surgically removed?

Question:
If not that kind what kind of stitches

Answers:
I just got my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday. I actually didn't need any stitches. My boyfriend (who got his teeth out 8 days before me) did get stitches, but they were the kind that have to be removed by he doctor (not disolvable). I asked him about them and he said that the reason the doctor gave him the non-dissolvable kind was because I guess it would be an obvious excuse to look at how he was recovering.
yes you do. MAKE SURE YOU RINSE EVERYDAY WITH SALT WATER!!! my sis just had hers out and it would have helped her pain so much. When i had mine out i did and no problems. She didnt and now has a dry socket and an infection. Jimmy
