you should. i remember not getting colors the first time i went, too. just ask next time you go, and your dentist will either let you or say when you can have colors.
I just got my braces today, and they let me choose my colors right before they started. That's a bit odd that your orthodontist does it differently. Well, I'm sure that the next time you visit, they'll attatch the bands, and don't worry, every month, you get to choose new ones! Best of luck with your braces.
You can get colors next visit. You should have asked about colors when they put them on so they could have put colors on instead of silver. My son did green right away and now changes when he feels like it as his checkups.

You should call them sometime this week and make an appointment to have rubberbands put on. But if you want to wait until your next visit, make sure you speak up and tell them what you want.
I think that it depends on your doc. You should ask him though..I've never seen a person with new braces that have color in them. Maybe they do that when you are more used to them. But, maybe he would have put colors in if you asked about them. Ask him next time.
not all people have colors. sometimes the colors won't work with your braces.
