Should I get clear brackets or metallic?

Question:

I'm getting braces soon. And I really want the clear brackets one, but I heard that if I get clear brackets they tend to break more easily and they are more stainable.
And are clear brackets means Ceramic braces kind??
And should I get the clear brackets or metallic??

Metal brackets do stay on much better. As far as clear you are probably thinking of porcelain brackets that match the color of your teeth much better, and yes you are right they do tend to break off easier.

I picked the metal ones because you can pick colors etc and there faster at working

I would recommend metal brackets, yes they show, but clear ones break easier, discolor and really still show anyway. I had clear for one month, broke 3, and switched. Just smile big!!
