What do I use to bend my archwire on my braces?

Question: There's a piece in the back that 's poking into my cheek and it really hurts.

Go back to your orthodontist and have them trim the wire. It will only take a second.

Put wax on it, your orthodontist should have given you some. Go into the orthodontist tomorrow (or tonight if they are available) and get it snipped. It would be pretty scary to try to do it yourself, but if you have to, call your orthodontist for specific instructions.
