I have a lump inside of my mouth?
Question:
Answers:
Probably a gum boil.(abscess) These can be painless, or with sensitivity such as you describe. If you take no action it will probably come to a head and burst. That may be painful, but not necessarily so. Really you should see a dentist who will perhaps lance it and give you a course of antibiotics.
Get a dental check or see your GP.
could it be your wisdom teeth?
mouth ulcer. go to the chemist and ask for bonjella, that should help!
It could just be a mouth ulcer, put some bonjela on it.
you should get that checked out asap, they can do a biopsy and see. If your teeth are sensitive, it doesn't sound like cancer, maybe a cancer sore.
this is an absis which may have occured from a small cut while eating ....a course of antibiotics is needed first then if a tooth is causing the problem should be then removed by the dentist... i very much doubt its cancer.... but must be investigated
Try not to worry, the fact that it hasn't been there very long is a good sign. Get a chlorhexadine-based mouthwash like Corsodyl and use that to fight off any possible infection, in case it's that. Otherwise, keep an eye on it and if it hasn't gone by this time next week take a trip to your dentist or doctor to get it checked. If it is a painless ulcer, they can take two weeks or more to disappear. Take care x
