They will take pictures, xrays, and then look in your mouth and spout off all these technical terms. The pictures were the worse for me. They take them with these supports in your mouth to hold your lips back. Make sure your teeth are clean! Then they'll go over financial stuff with parents.

they will do what ortho folks call constulation i get braces in 6 days. my ortho he took pics,made me have impressions done,and he talked the entire time.it will take between 45 mins-1 hour.
they'll work on your teeth for an hour
Are they checking to see if you need braces? They will probley take x-rays and impressions of your teeth. Along with that your dentist will probley explain to you what they will do to correct your smile.
dont worry - you may spend more time in the waiting room than on the chair, since you are just going for a checkup.
and when on the chair - be a Buddha ! just be at peace and it wil be fine :)
