Mouth/tongue sore??
Question:
Answers:
Sounds like a canker sore. Annoying but harmless as far as I know. There might be over the counter meds for it.
I read about them a few years ago when I had one on my gums in the lower right quadrant of my mouth.
Just stay away from spicy foods, and "hard" foods. (anything crunchy, sometimes apples too...biting into them can hurt it too, but your's is under your tounge, you might be ok there) Spicy foods tend to aggravate a canker sore.
Gargle w/ warm salt water, and use the orajel for pain. (I noticed ambisol has more benzocane in it, as does Wal-Marts Equate brand "Orasol" (20%).
It will clear up on it's own in a few days to a week or so. Maybe a bit longer depending on what you eat during the time you have it.
Sometimes, once you get one, you are more prone to getting them again. Thankfully, I haven't had another one!
