Wisdom teeth?

Be glad it's numb. When that wears off, it's likely to hurt. As long as the dental surgeon didn't tell you not to eat, you should be fine, but I wouldn't eat anything that requires chewing just in case your tongue is also numb and you end up chewing it along with your food (yes, I had a friend who did that and it wasn't pretty). Try some soft foods like pudding or something.
You can drink something but do not use a straw. What you are experiencing is very normal. There will probably be swelling later too. Just remember to chew only soft foods... nothing too cold or too hot. And take it easy.
I had all of my wisdom teeth out a few years ago. Be thankful that it is still numb! It should return to normal in the next few hours. You should definitely drink some water but you should use a straw for now.
