Why do my teeth ache so much?

Question:
i went camping this past weekend, and when i woke up on saturday morning my teeth were aching and all my gums were sore. and till now it still hurts, the pain only goes away when i shut my mouth tight and put pressure on my teeth why did this happen?

Answers:
if your teeth are otherwise in good condition, then you might have been grinding your teeth against each other. were you comfortable and happy about the camping? if not, you expressed your discomfort through clenching your jaw moving your teeth back and forth; this is grinding your teeth, a reaction to stress while you slept. effects make teeth hurt and slowly grinds them down to a nub. not good at all.
Maybe you grind your teeth at night when you are sleeping. This can make your teeth and jaws sore the next day.
The reason why is because you grind your teeth when your asleep.
You might have an infection from something that wasn't cooked right or bacteria in the water. Use a rinse, like Listerene, that has flouride and some anti-bacterial medication, and if it doesn't improve, go visit your dentist ASAP.
Without more details I can't give you much. Did you neglect your teeth during the weekend while you were camping? If you didn't brush them like you normally do, you could have food particles lodged between your teeth or under your gumline causing sensitivity.
infection, cavities or possibly teeth grinding at night. try not to eat something too sugary before you go to sleep
