I'm looking for online places to ask questions concerning Oral Maxillofacial surgery.

Has anyone had this type of surgery for and for what issue(s)?

Try Sci.Med.Dentistry under Google Groups. or http://www.aaoms.org/ to locate a surgeon in your area and make a consultation appointment to discuss your particular situation.
I work in one but do not know of any place online. Maybe you could call one in your area?
