for the mean time try putting some freshly ground pepper directly on the gums of the tooth that hurts.this will dull the pain for only a few minutes.you will need to keep doing it.also use orajel and if thats not available you can try using a sore throat spray
or you just deal with the nausea the pain killers bring rather than the pain of a toothache
ive had two kids and would rather be in labor again than have to deal with the pain that the toothaches bring

Try to massage back of the hands between the bones (metacarpals), and take Echinacea. You can find Echinacea in vitamin section. Also, massage the shoulder, back and top of the neck, head, forehead, top of the nose, face, front of the ears, around the mouth (take it easy on this area), side of the neck, and top of the chest to ease the pressure. The pain should go away soon.
Take warm salt water and swish it around in your mouth for about 10 seconds...and spit it out! Do this about three times a day! I would call your dentist soon and tell them what is going on! There is prolly a fracture in the cavity and any pressure you put on the tooth is going straight to the root...which is understandable for it to be painful! If the novacaine wore off before they started to drill on the tooth! Tell your dentist! They gotta be able to give you more! I used to work in a dental office...and everytime the patient could feel the pain...the patient would get another shot of novacaine! good luck hun!
