I just got mine, all four, removed last Monday! It took about a week for the swelling to fully go down, but it is much better after three days. Apply an ice pack to the jaw, especially several hours before the big event. Drinking cold fluids like milk shakes should help a bit, too.
I had the same problem when I got mine taken out. The only advice that I have is to use salt water. My face was swollen for about 3-4 days, and I missed a week of work.
Hi there ..ask ur frend to use ice cold salt water to rinse the mouth..drink more ice water..watever ice tings will help...ice cream ..it will help to keep the swell as well as cure abit of pain :)
She could put ice packs on her face, it also helps with the pain. For me though, the swelling lasted almost a week. She can just explain to her date beforehand about it and I
m sure he would understand if she looked kinda puffy.
