Swollen gums with Braces overnight?
Question:
Thanks in Advance!
Answers:
This is very normal with braces because the gums are being overstimulated because of the braces. First, I just want to mention that you should not be brushing more than 3 times a day because that will definitely help contribute to the problem of overstimulating.
Unfortunately, there's nothing much you can do about this. It usually goes away once your braces are removed and if not, you can have it surgically removed.
But please, don't brush your teeth more than 3 times a day, you might do some serious irreversible damage to your gums, which would be a shame beca
you may be over-brushing them. by messing with them too much its irritating them. dont over-do it or they will swell. i had the same problem, my gums nearly covered my brace brackets
Sorry cant help you.
thats normal. i asked my ortho the same question. he said to get a cup and fill it with warm water and a tea spoon of salt.then swush it on ur mouth for a couple minutes, for about a week. this should shrink the gum size
dont worry=)
sounds like an infection. I am not a dentist nor doctor, but ir doesn't take a rocket scientist to know the swelling is a sign of infection. See your doc because you will need antibiotics and if they are not helpful see a lawyer and another doc because you may have a malpractice suit to pay for other work and pain abd suffering
