Sometimes I feel like something is stuck in my teeth?

Question:
and it hurts... i have braces on and i can never reach the spot that's ticking me off

Answers:
Get some floss back there and clean it out really well. It's quite possible that there is something stuck. If not food, it could be excess cement from the bands being placed. Next appointment ask the dentist to check, we can see much better with our instruments and lights. Hope I've been of some help and good luck with your ortho!

You can also try using a water pik to help remove any food particles from in between the teeth. The use of a water pik is an exceptional aid during your orthodontic treatment.
my daughter used tooth picks to cure the problem, sometimes its plaque building cause brushing doesnt do the whole job while wearing braces.
oh i had the same problem. what i did is i rinsed my mouth a lot and flossed. and i kinda played around with my mouth. you'll feel better after you do some of that. hope it gets better!
It depends on where you think it is stuck. Some places can be reached by threading floss (try Superfloss) or if there is more space a proxa-brush (a tiny brush on the end of a handle). When your teeth are moving, there will be spacing between teeth that can impact food.
