Help ! braces / dental help !?
Question:
they hurt like the first days you first get your braces on.
blah !!
and part of the ajustment was to start wearing the elastic/ruberband.
and they said i have to wear it at night while sleeping; and guess what!?
i grind my teeth.
and i cant wear my nightmouth guard or whatever cause of the elastic/ruberband.
what should i do ?
p.s.
advil! my teeth hurt like crazy !
p.p.s what is there to do to stop the habit of teeth grinding at night? ( please dont say wear the mouth guard cause i HATE THAT CRAP!! )
Answers:
I will promise you it will get better, even just fine. Then they will adjust them again. Not every time will hurt, but some of the will. There is a pretty good chance that once your teeth get in proper alignment that you will stop grinding. Many people do. Then often they develop a worse habit to relieve stress.
