Injection in front teeth?
Question:
Answers:
Injections for working on the front teeth are not a walk in the park, but they are something you can survive. I never had gas to do my dental work with, but my dentist usually gave me an injection to the side first- that way it was slightly numb before I got the one above the actual tooth. I won't lie and say it's pleasant, but if you have a good patient dentist, it's not horrible either. Your face will feel really funny afterwards, though. I usually get numb all the way to my lower eyelid, and your nose feels about four times the normal size. Your eye may water as well, and your nose feel stuffy. I imagine with the gas to take the edge off things, it won't be a big problem for you. Just let the dentist know you are nervous and scared. They are usually pretty understanding about it, and do what they can to help.
you get a needle in there, its not bad because the dentist wiggles your cheek to distract you from the pain and people have higher pain tolarance for oral injuies.
