Wow, I have to warn you! If you brush too hard for too long you can actually remove the enamel in your teeth
I'll quote wikipedia for truth
Other nonbacterial processes of enamel destruction include abrasion (involving foreign elements, such as toothbrushes), erosion (involving chemical processes, such as lemon juice), and possibly abfraction (involving compressive and tensile forces).
You'll essentially wear down your teeth a lot if you brush too much. If you have white teeth, you can keep them white, cavity-free, and intact by brushing 2 minutes a day with toothpaste (change your toothpaste and wipe your chin when toothpaste gets on it), flossing, and using flouride/mouthwash.
Brushing for two hours with or without toothpaste will probably do some serious damage to your gums and maybe even your teeth enamel. It's not meant to be scrubbed for hours on end.
And get different toothpaste, even though I imagine it's something else entirely that is making you break out because that does not make ANY sense.
Toothpaste is not getting your teeth clean. The brush and floss are breaking up the biofilm. Toothpaste adds a nice taste and a tiny bit of fluoride, but is totally unnecessary to getting a mouth clean.
