ABSOLUTELY and it was used by many people for all the years prior to all the new products on the market. Make a paste of baking soda and peroxide to brush your teeth with and allow it to stand for a few minutes before rinsing... great results!

You could use baking soda in your tooth paste it will whiten a bit after you use it a week and you dont taste the baking soda.
Stay away from hydrogen peroxide as a mouth rinse,
it causes black hairy tongue
