High blood pressure could cause this. Also a dry environment. If you use central heating or fire, that could do it, esp in combo with your high blood pressure. Try a humidifer or, if you don't want to spend the money, just put a pot of water on the stove to boil. Don't forget to turn it off! You can throw some cinnamon sticks and cloves in there to make your house smell good too!
