I'm wanting to try artificial insimination, My Dr. was no help. Where do I start? What do I need to know?

Question: I would love to be married & have kids. Things didn't work out that way for me. I can live without being married, but I want children. My Dr. was really no help as to where to get started & what I need to know & find out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
