I am vegetarian for the past 10 years. Vegetarian diet is healthy if we know how to eat right. There is no scientific prove to show that vegetarian diet helps in losing weight. Losing weight, regardless being vegetarian or none vegetarian, works on the same formula : calories input less than calories output.
Being a vegetarian, it is important to add protein like soya products, peas, dhals and so on. Enjoy vegetable fat and fats from the nuts in moderation. No matter what type of diet we take up,physical workout is the one matters more on our fitness level.
