Low carb is fast but it will come back if you aren't really careful. I know people who have had good luck losing pretty fast with Suzanne Somer's or The Zone. Good luck! Be sure to drink lots of water! =)
There's really no best or fastest weightloss diet since everyone's body composition is different hence different diets work different ways for an individual. Workout and Cardio is the easiest way to lose together with a more low-calorie balanced diet. You can try out different diets and see for yourself which works better for you, but since you're in a hurry, you might not have enough time to try it.
That's a really good question. It can be hard to decide with all of the options that are out there for weight loss programs right now. Take a look at the site below for some reviews on weight loss programs and supplements. Hopefully that will get you heading in the right direction! Good luck!

Just eat dinner, no candies, no soda. First try to clean your stomach with some kind of tea and then start diet.
Low calorie <1200/day. I lost 22 lbs. my first month on this type of diet. I stuck around 800-1000/day. Lots of water! I've tried this twice and it's worked both times. Friends have joined the bandwagon and it's worked great for them also.good luck!
my best friend went on the la weight loss diet and lost 75 lb in 8 months that was 2 year ago and she still hasn't gained it back the best part is no excercise and eating normal food ps. tell them u don't want the pills pills are bad 4 u good luck!
The healthiest way is to eat fresh foods, low in fat with an equal amount of protein and carbs. 20lbs in a month is a very agressive goal which you probably won't accomplish that way though. If you need to lose that much that fast, you could get it kickstarted by eating nothing but tuna & water for 3 days (make sure it's canned in water and not oil) and then gradually add in other foods and keep the carbs very low after that (but don't eliminate them entirely). Dave Draper has an article about it on his web site. You don't have a be a bodybuilder to use this diet.

I know what worked for me and now I have my mom and my brother swearing by it. It's a Fish Oil Omega-3 1000mg supplement. It's the Spring Valley brand from Wal-Mart. A bottle of 120 pills costs $6.25.
The bottle basically says to take one with each of 3 meals. I only take one in the morning with my breakfast. I don't exercise.unless you count keeping up with 2 toddlers exercise. In just 2 weeks my tummy was noticeably flatter. In one month I had lost 10lbs. I eat whatever I want whenever I want.even fast food every day for lunch.
The omega-3 fatty acids break down fat. Tummy fat is especially vulnerable. It's totally natural and the fish oil itself is great for maintaining a healthy heart.
Try using resistance training with aerobic this will boost your metabolism more than either alone. Resistance training will tone your muscles and make them more effective making your aerobic worthwhile. To lose fat you only need a small calorie deficit not starvation. Aim for 100-200calories less than normal diet. Do not focus on numbers weight will fluctuate as your general health improves, go on how you look and feel. Do your aerobic 20-30min 3times a week and weight training 3times a week(just do the circuit training). If weights are unavailable just 3 sets of 10 push ups 3 sets of 10 squats well you get the idea simple calisthenics. Good luck.
