Today I have enough money to buy myself a brand new BMW 325i. But if I wait and save for one more year I can afford a BMW 450, if I wait a year or two longer I will be able to afford a BMW 750.
It's waiting for something bigger or better even though you can afford something now of lesser value now.
I can afford to take a a cruis to Mexico this summer or wait, save some more and go to Hawaii for two weeks next Summer.
