how does weight watchers benefit you?
Question:
Answers:
It teaches you about healthy eating. With the point system, no food is off limits, but you have to budget your points carefully. You'll be able to eat a lot more food if you stick to low point items like vegetables. You also learn about portion sizes. It is better than those pre-packaged diet programs because you actually learn about what to eat, instead of just buying food in a pre-portionned container.
Other Answers:
you lose weight but it is a pain in the but counting points
A friend of mine did weight watchers and lost alot of weight. She really liked it because it didn't elimate food groups. It helped her to figure out portion control and make better choices because of point values. She didn't go to the meatings on a regular basis. She also ordered the Weight Watchers Magazine. She liked the recipes and tips in there. I guess with the point system you can save up points? She'd sometimes use less points during the week if she knew she was going somewhere over the weekend where she'd exceed her daily points. And she still lost weight.
