How do i get gum out of my clothes?

Question:

I have to wear this shirt to a competition and i think i may have gum on it but the problem is i have washed the shirt many times and i just noticed the gum in there it is very hard and i have tryed using an iron and i can't get it out any suggestions on how to get it out? (i can't buy another)

Use ice to chill it, or put it in the freezer, then rub with ice. Pick at it gently. Keep icing as you work.

try using ice. it should make it harden so you can peel it off.
