whatis the treatment for a mechanical heart valve that sticks other than openheart?
Question:
Answers:
I have done some prior reading on this as I have a defective heart valve (that, so far, has not required surgery). As far as I know, the answer would be no. When an artificial valve is placed, it is with the assumption that it most likely won't last forever, and surgery will be required again in the future.
