Is My Nose Broken?

Question: I was playing dodgeball and someone hit me in the face EXTREMELY hard. And, to top it off, I was wearing GLASSES and also, was already out. :) It is bruised on the bridge of the nose, and (on the same side) nostril. It is also painful to the touch (just touching lightly) and when pressured. I also had a bit of blood in my nostril, but kind of when you blow your nose sort of thing. It is swollen. Also, if I scrunch up my face, like there is something upleasant underneath it, it hurts. I've never broken anything, but this REALLY hurt. I've basketballs and dodgeballs in the face before, but this hurt! I didn't hear any crack or anything, but it kind of happened fast. If anyone can tell me anything it could ease my mind a bit. By the way, I AM looking into contact lenses. :)

your nose isn't broken your too cool for that but since it seems your fingers might be broken because honestly you can search google yes i said google not yahoo but here is what i found.

Provided the nose is straight and not displaced and provided the air passages are not blocked and you can breathe freely through both nostrils, a fracture is an unlikely possibility. Swelling which comes up for a second time after initially resolving could certainly represent the beginning of an infection but equally this puffiness can sometimes happen in the presence of a small collection of blood under the skin. The bridge of the nose is a very tender area generally, so tenderness is partly to be expected. Apply ice to the area and ask your doctor about the possibility of a soft tissue X-ray of the nose if symptoms do not clear up within another day or so.
