Awaken with swollen lips?

Question: Last night my youngest daughter took a medicaction called metronidazole which is generic for flagl that her sister gave her. and she also took a couple of meds for PMS. She is not certain whether or not she took 2 of the metronidazole or the PMS meds. Early this morning her lips were all swollen and she is scare to death! She is on her way to the emergency room now. We are thinking this combination of meds is the cause of this. Anyone know or have experienced this before? I appreciate your feedback. Thank you

It sounds like an allergic reaction. Immediately discontinue the 2 meds and get her to a doctor for a shot. Inform the doctor what you just said here so he can further test to see which one caused the reaction. I wish you all the luck in the world.

be sure to get her to the MD. Flagil if usually taken for a veneral infection. The other is probably just a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory.
She could be hypersenseitive to either one of these
