Psoriasis is caused by an autoimmune problem. Outbreaks are caused by stress, illness and sometimes weather changes, to name the ones I usually deal with. I am sure there are more reasons for outbreaks too.

Remedies include exfoliation, vitamin c, de-stressing your life <yeah right!> light lamps, tanning beds, extra strength lotions and steroid prescription creams and ointments. The treatments vary depending on the severity of the psoriasis breakout.
