why my teeth are not white?

I have been brushing my teeth for 2 miniutes morening and night for 1 full month and my teeth have not got white but they have stoped bleeding. They only bleed for 2 days then no more. Also my touge i have just started to lightly brush cause it is turing white and has a bit tounge.

ur natural enamel colour is dark in color
age has also a role, teeth get darker with age
or it runs in the family

and by the way dont brush harder in hopes of getting better results, or in hope of whiter teeth.. coz hard brushing can cause abrasion of the enamel and tooth substance loss if done vigrously.. take care
