when you go to a crowded area with a high level of air pollution does your eyes become red if yes then why?

Question:

Answers:
Pollutants are tiny particles of stuff - all kinds of stuff, grit that gets into your eyes. Your eyes have fluid - tear-like - that should wash the grit out of your eyes. But that fluid has limits. If there's too much grit in your eyes, then the act of closing your eyes rubs the grit across your eye, making it red and irritated.
