by telling them they can't. If you tell someone they cant do something 9 out of 10 times they do it just to prove you wrong or just to do what they were told not too. And all there friends do it..

they also use women as a provacative/incentive to buy the cigarettes. Showing how if she smokes it its ok for you to smoke it.

alos its like a trend exp. a celebrity smoke some malboro or something.if you smoke malboro you're cool now and whatnot.

they make them think smoking is cool.
