What causes a radicular cyst?
Question:
Answers:
In laymens terms? Its like an internal scar.
Your body can't remove it so its surrounds the scar and forms a cyst. Most of the time the do not show symptoms and they found by accident during routine dental visits. sometimes they kill the tooth were they originated. They are formed sometimes by trauama, sometimes we never know. Rarely do they get so big, that they surround multiple teeth, thats the worst case scenerio and they have to cut out a section of teeth (very very rare). Small ones can be treated by an endodontist, who basically does a small relatively simple surgury where he scoops out the cyst (enucleation); write that down.
