what are some ways to heal up my blister on a foot fast when i am at work?
Question:
Answers:
duct tape or bandaid--bandaid hurts less to remove, but seriously break in your shoes first before wearing them to work, and if they're high heels, i would SOOOO consider a pair of lightweight walking shoes. throw them on in the morning and put the cutesy shoes in your bag. then just change when you get to work and no one will be the wiser.
Other Answers:
put duct tape over the blister. seriously. it works. doesn't heal it, but it will get you home.
I bought new steel toe work boots and I had the same problem.
I "popped" them and used vaseline for a week to make the shoes slide better over the sores.
I wish I had better advice.
Take the shoes back when you get home! Don't be afraid, you shouldn't have to keep something you bought that will give you a blister. Just put some tape around it, and when you get home, put some blister healer on it. I hope you can get home, and I REPEAT DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TAKE THEM BACK. Basically, tell the clerk that you bought them, you wore them to work, and you got a blister that was SO painful you couldn't walk on them.
Sincerely,
Nate
You need a good plaster bandage. Not a plastic-y Band-Aid. But one made of plaster. The plastic ones come off quickly, especially when walking.
If you use duct tape, at least put some tissue paper between it and your blister. It'll be a makeshift Band-Aid, if you will.
If you have socks and sneakers from your gym bag available, bite the bullet and wear that to walk home.
Hope you feel better.
