i will be going to the salon tomorrow to have my hair done. it currently sits a little below my shoulders. i want it a little shorter, but still long enough to put into a ponytail. i thought i would take some pictures with me to show the stylist for reference.

Flip through mags with celebrity pics or go buy a hairstyle mag. They should have a few at the salon, too.

I used a pic of Ashlee Simpson (when she was still brunette) when I wanted to get mine done like that. It turned out really well. They'll probably have some in the books in the salon. If not, do a google image search for Ashlee or another celebrity you'd like to get your hair done like and print it out.
