If you're gonna do it you have to cut out ALL carbs for it to work. I did it a few years ago and lost a lot of weight really fast. But as soon as I ate just a few carbs all the weight came right back. It also raised my blood pressure. If you want to lose weight you need to just eat healthy and smaller portions. Depriving yourself of one thing is an unhealthy diet.

I think it depends on your body type. I have been doing it for 4 years only because it makes me feel better. If you need to lose weight, Atkins induction definitely works.
I'm not giving up my bread and pasta for anything. Just eat breads and pastas that are high in fiber.
