if you have tenitus: What should I do? I have tenitus (ringing in the ears) too & I don't know why.?
Question:
Answers:
1.) you may have an overdose going on. Stop the meds.
2.) if not the above, go see an Ear nose & throat Dr. Possibly an ear infection or sinus infection.
Other Answers:
This is a side effect of some medications, so if you're on a new medicine, that could be the cause. If it persists, you should probably call your physician.
Please look into it right away.
It could be worse than just what others here have said. My friends husband is actually DEAF in one ear! It started out as an infection and then led to a dead ear. that's what they called it. It is deaf but instead of hearing NOTHING - he hears a sort of ringing/grinding sound ALL THE TIME. It will not ever go away because it is his brain that is mixing up the signals of sound from his ear that works to the one that is dead.
Maybe if you have any problem and catch it in time you can stop any serious damage. (not that all times with tenitus is serious) but it's better to be safe than sorry IMO.
:) good luck with it.
