It depends on the procedure performed. Typically, a woman may still have the fallopian tubes and ovaries if only a hysterctomy (removal of the uterus) was performed. Although rare, it's possible for bleeding to occur during times of extreme duress. If you had a complete hysterectomy (hysterosalpingooophorectomy or removal of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries) then the chances of your bleeding, even with stress, is virtually nil. You may want to discuss your bleeding (and your stress levels) with your physcian. Ulcers and other medical conditions can mimic vaginal bleeding.
