No everyone does not ovulate at the same time, it depends on your cycle. The HCG hormone can be detected in a first morning sample after about 4-6 weeks. You can also get a blood test done to see if you are pregnant.
The test can detect that hormone after about two weeks after after sex and you said you had sex right b4 your period so i don't htink you were ovulating, ovulation occurs 14 days after the first day of your period usually. So you have a slim chance of being pregnant.
you are the most fertile 14 days from the first day of your last period and sperm can live in there for up to 7 days. the hormone can be tested for up to 5 days before you miss your period however, during this time depending on your body you may get false results. The hormone is at its highest level about 5-7 weeks into a pregnancy. Ive found that the best at home test to use is First Response because of its ultra sensitivity to the aforementioned hormone.
you can test at least a week after your missed period but i wouldn't before that sometimes if you test to soon it can give you false results as long as you have had your period normal in the past i doesn't matter that it was before your period so i would test
